We received a promo $79.99 200/200 internet/tv/voice that got our interest as our Spectrum bill has doubled in 2 years and is now $160 10/100 and basic cable. We tried to get a price match or adjustment and they won't budge.
The important part - we use Tivo for cable - which means cablecards. Is this even possible for Frontier?
Cablecards replace $10/month cable box rentals completely. We are not interested in "renting" DVR.
We own our own router (not rent) - and until recently our own modem (was a rental fee also but started becoming free)
We do not rent equipment, period (other than cablecards @$2 each). These are hidden fees. (taxes etc are expected) Does Frontier do this too?
More importantly - does Frontier do cablecards for Tivo?
We have heard many horror stories about horrible customer service and bad business - but at nearly $1000/year price difference.....we're considering it.
