I got a call out of the blue from Frontier's "network group". They want to replace my ONT.
My ONT was actually replaced within the past couple of years, when I went to 200/200 service. My current ONT to the best of my knowledge is not having any kind of problem. The Frontier person said they're simply doing upgrades in my area (98033).
Does this portend faster speeds (I think 98033 currently tops out at 200/200) or any tangible benefit?
When it comes to my internet and TV service I'm generally of the "if it ain't broke, don't fix it" mindset.
