Prepping for Install, double check my work?

I'm moving from Xfinity 1.2G/40M to Frontier Fiber this weekend, going with the 1G service. Can you good people check over what I've got currently and what I may need before Saturday? Currently I have the Xfinity router in my study hooked up to an Asus XT8 mesh via CAT 6a to the 2.5G port. The other XT8 is in my living room currently connected using the tri-band wireless backhaul. I'm (finally after 8 years in the house) terminating the ethernet wiring so that I can connect the satellite XT8 via ethernet backhaul. It's been a minute since I terminated cabling, but I'm borrowing crimping tools and tester from the network team at the office to accomplish this. I have an extra switch that I can plug everything into in the closet, so I think I'm covered there. When Frontier came through a couple years ago lighting up the neighborhood, they put a hole in my side yard opposite my driveway covered with a green plastic cover, so I'm assuming that is where the tech will run (hopefully) an ethernet cable to an ONT in my garage like I've been seeing in posts on this forum? At this point things gets a little hazy. Is the ONT also my router, or do they install another router in the garage or inside my house? If it's in the house, do I get to choose the room and they'll run a CAT6 cable from the ONT to their router in said room? At that point, will it be as simple as I currently have it and I can run a cable from the router/ONT to my XT8 and then split everything out via ethernet/wifi?
