I'm not sure this is the correct forum but here goes.
I was a Comcast customer from the beginning (internet), probably 20 plus year ago. When we moved, about 9 years ago, the house we moved to already had FIOS. So I switched. It's been good 99.8% of the time. Customer service has been hit or miss, mostly miss. For awhile we had that triple play and then got rid of VOIP. Got a MagicJack. ANd I have an OBI for my biz. A few years ago I upgraded to 100/100 for an extra 10 bucks a month. Love it.
But now, actually, for awhile, I've been thinking of cutting the TV part off since we have two ROKUs and then maybe I'll do Sling TV.
So today I chatted with Frontier for well over an hour. All I wanted to know was how much would 500/500 internet service cost without TV. Finally he quoted something around $91.00.month plus taxes and fees (of course)
My question(s).....
If I stick with Frontier, do I really NEED 500/500 or would my current 100/100 be enough? Two computers, two TVs. I do a little online gaming...not a lot.
Oh...he quoted $82.00/month for the 100/100. So 500/500 sounds like a better deal.....
Or......
Do I switch to Comcast again, as a new customer. They don't have the uplode speeds to match but I can get 400 down for 50 bucks a month.
Would I notice the slower up speed? And Comcast has caps. I'm not sure if we would hit that cap if we stream all our TV.
Thanks so much in advance.
