So I've been trying to get service since they put in the new DSLAM down my road earlier this year; finally in early December it showed I could get 18Mb on the website. So I ordered and was set up for Dec 23rd between 8am-12pm, but they never showed up or called. I called later that day and no one could tell me anything. Apparently CSR's can only talk to local dispatch through chat, and they said they said they would call back and reschedule sometime. Which they never did, so I called back a few days later and the automated machine said I was scheduled for Jan 2nd 1pm-5pm. I canceled a doctor appointment I had at 2pm just to make sure I was here, but they never showed. I called back and they said my service installation ticket was listed as priority but was not allocated. After 2 hours of CSR's, supervisors, and tech support I was told nothing more than they would call me back at 8pm to reschedule. Which they didn't. So I imagine in a few days I'll call back and get another fake appointment. Anyway, I'm furious because I canceled my Viasat on the 16th so I would save the $110/mo and wait a week for Frontier, but now Its looking like it might be an entire month without internet.
It seems so unprofessional to miss appointments. I mean, I've been literally trying to get Frontier DSL since they bought Verizon over 10 years ago. I expected nothing yet was still disappointed. How can I get them to actually come out here and make 3rd time the charm?
