I have the Actiontec MI424WR REV l. I have my own wi-fi router that I would like to use as my main wi-fi router (Asus).
I have FIOS TV, but not phone.
How can I setup the Actiontec to bypass all routing and pass it on to my Asus?
CUrrently I plug an ethernet cable into the actiontec LAN port, and the ASUS LAN port. However this connection only works for a brief amount of time before it drops and I have to connect to the FIOS router.
I'd like it setup like my Comcast was setup. Out of the Frontier router into the WAN port of my ASUS. Open to other options as well I suppose.
