Hello,
Have a question I'm hoping someone on the forum can help me with. I currently have DSL service from another provider (local provider named DJKlink). For various reasons I would like to provide some redundancy and bring a 2nd DSL connection to my house from Frontier. I would then use a device like a Peplink Balance 20 to provide WAN failover/redundancy.
I only have a single cable (4 pair) line coming to my house. Does anyone know if Frontier is able to bring a 2nd DSL line in on a different pair on the same cable without effecting the service from provider #1 DJKlink? I should point out that DJKlink brings their service to my house via Frontier's infrastructure. I know I can get 2 DSL lines from a single provider but trying to get carrier redundancy. Also, the cable in my sub-division is underground so getting a 2nd cable buried to the house would be difficult. Thanks in advance for the feedback.
