If someone has the email address of a Frontier person that can make decisions about equipment installation, please provide it.
In my area of Morgantown WV, only 3 Mbps is available; the service is not consistent and requires reboots to get service for various devices. However, it is the only high speed service available until they decide to extend cable to the area.
I was one of the first customers to sign up when Frontier finally programmed the Kindle Mill switch that Verizon had installed before Frontier purchased the service in WV. I was very happy to get off of dial-up and looked forward to the 6 Mbps service that was promised. A neighbor that moved in 2 years ago was looking forward to the 12 Mbps service that he was promised. From a service tech, I recently found out that the Kindle Mill cannot support more than 3 Mbps.
To get higher, new equipment would have to be installed. As usual I was unable to find how to request the upgraded equipment. All Frontier telephone contacts I could find would finally agree that higher speeds were not available in my area and would pass along a request for upgraded equipment. Nobody seemed to be able to provide a name of the person that would make decision to upgrade the equipment.
I realize that I am in one of the better serviced areas of WV. It seems that the customers serviced by the Kindle Mill switch are doomed to marginal internet speeds because service in the Morgantown area is much better than the rest of WV. 6 and 12 Mbps are available in many area of the Morgantown WV area.
Just in case this gets to someone that could decide to upgrade the Kindle Mill switch for higher speeds, I formally request the upgrade be made
