I'm moving in a couple of weeks and my new house has Frontier Fiber. They are offering 500 for $39.99/mo for a year, then it goes up to the regular rate of $54.99/mo, and offers a $100 cash back card. Gig is $59.99/mo for three years with a $200 card, which is still $260 more than the 500 in total.
What are my chances of negotiating the 500 down after the year? I don't want to jump to Cox. I'm thinking the 500 is the better bet, unless they jack the price in the next three years, as it's cheaper anyway. I wouldn't see much practical difference between 515/515 and 930/930. I have 150/10 right now, so going to 500 will amazing.
