I just had FiOS installed, internet and home phone.
They upgraded my BPON to XPON.
I have a Ubiquiti setup, router with 4 access points wired around the house.
In my area the tech mentioned voice (home phone) needs the FiOS router to work and can't just run directly off the ONT like it was before.
I attempted to set it in transparent bridge mode, this passed the WAN IP to my router, but left both wireless radios enabled without a way to disable them. I also think I lost my home phone service this way.
I have it setup now with the DMZ method that passes the WAN IP to my router, you disable the wireless radios, set DMZ to "share IP address with WAN", passthrough mode "DHCP fixed" and enter/select your WAN mac address from the list of your router.
Is this the best method? I have ethernet and coax running from the ONT to my wiring panel in the master closet.
I know it is possible to have both the Coax and ethernet port enable on the ONT, but I'm not sure if I could run two routers off it. One for the FiOS router for home phone (Coax) and the other (Ethernet) running to my own router.
Thanks

Also on the Firewall DMZ settings at the top, it will prompt you to disable DHCP Reservation, during a reboot the WAN port on your router might get a 192.X.X.X reservation.
" WARNING: Having DHCP Reservation enabled can cause problems with DMZ features. (DHCP Reservation is currently disabled.) "
