It's Frontier - here's info I just got from my web host: Recently, some customers using Frontier as their ISP have been unable to connect to our servers. Frontier has been made aware of this at this time, and they're currently working on it. For some reason, it has only been affecting Frontier customers. Original post follows: For the past few days I've had intermittent problems accessing my website - sometimes it loads and sometimes it doesn't. I contacted my web host and they could find nothing wrong. They suggested I run a tracert to see where the blockage is. So I did that and got nothing but timeouts. I also did tracerts for places like CNN. GM, and Amazon. They all looked basically the same as this: Tracing route to gm.com [198.208.73.147] over a maximum of 30 hops: 1 tracert birkbinnard.com Tracing route to birkbinnard.com [192.249.124.143] over a maximum of 30 hops: 1 1 ms 1 ms 1 ms gateway.home [192.168.254.254] 2 * * * Request timed out. 3 * * * Request timed out. 4 Te1-7-0-4---0.lcr01.lsan.ca.frontiernet.net [172.102.104.148] reports: Destination net unreachable. It's not clear to me what is going on but I thought maybe someone here might have a suggestion about what I can do to identify the problem.
