Currently on Frontier 100/100 plan with phone/TV....moving to 500/500 phone and YouTubeTV 4K streaming which will save me ~$50 a month. My home is fully wired with coax and home run wiring (minimal splitters).
1) Does Frontier (Tampa/Sarasota) have FOX222 ONT's which can use my existing coax network, or will they install a 221/220 which requires ethernet? (My office is at the farthest point from the ONT and difficult to get to in the attic space). The Frontier phone rep I spoke to said they don't have 222's...they install 220/221's which requires ethernet from the ONT....but I keep seeing folks talking about Frontier 222's.....
2) Since I am keeping Frontier phone service, do I have to use their router? (I have a G1100 running and a NVG468MQ on my shelf). NOTE: I run MoCA 2 bonded inside my home, so I turn off LAN MoCA in the Frontier router (neither Frontier box supports bonded).
