Based on what a Frontier tech told me Friday, there seems to be quite a bit of upgrade activity going on in Texas as well. He mentioned:
San Angelo
League City
Bryan/College Station (Aggieland)
Sulphur Springs
There are probably others. He also said that the last he heard, 2 gbps service might be available mid-2022.
I checked a couple addresses in Sulphur Springs and fiber shows up as available, 500 mbps and 1 gbps packages. This is kinda cool as the wife and I have considered Sulphur Springs as a possible retirement location.
