Greetings,
I ordered new service from Frontier in Norwalk, CT. I'm getting 115/10 DSL with Frontier-provided router. Frontier is providing their router free of charge, so I thought it would be easier to use their equipment.
Questions:
1. Do they provide router/DSL combo? And if so;
2. Is it possible to bypass the router functionality and simply use it as DSL modem bridge?
3. What DSL modem/router do they provide?
I'm planning on using my own firewall. My only experience in the past with DSL router combos is with Verizon, and I'm a little fuzzy on what I did to use the Actiontec in bridge mode.
TIA
↧
