Hi, everyone. I am using 1G fiber optic plan with frontier. I am trying to host a synology server with my fiber internet. However, I feel like the upload speed is getting much slower starting 5pm every day. Cause in other time during the day. I can max out the speed when I tried to download a file from my server remotely... I did the test on that for keep downloading the same file from my server every 30mins and record the average speed without changing any setting on my server, but the speed just cut down to about 50M after 5pm. My remote location has 400/20 internet. So when the speed is normal, I can get 400M download speed. I called frontier and they said my internet has no problem, and fiber shouldn't have any sort of throttle or congestion.
