This has been happening for over a year. Every night, starting around 7PM the upload speed starts crawling, usually between 1MB-5MB. I have a 50/50 plan. I have tested this via ethernet connected directly to the box. All devices on the network show the same upload speed problem. I have even bypassed the coax running through my house and directly connected the router to the ONT eliminating an issue with a bad coax cable.
I have had 3 techs out, and all of them say it's not them. They run a speed test while they're here on their tablet, which is during the day obviously, showing no issues. The last tech left me with the NVG468MQ router which has a built-in speed test. This test ALWAYS shows no issues, always shows around 56/51 speeds regardless of time.
I don't know what's left for me to do. Perhaps showing a tech a video of a side-by-side speed test with my eth connected speed test versus the router speed test.
