Two Different IP Addresses Assigned

I recently removed video service from my Frontier Fios package and now have 50/50 internet and phone. I wanted to extend my network for better coverage to my downstairs streaming box which gets a weak wifi signal. So, I hooked up an old westell router that I had laying around to the free coax wire in my living room and connected the streaming box directly to the router. My intention was to just set up a moca bridge with the second router - I actually don't have great networking skills, but when I logged into the second router to my astonishment it had received its own ip address from Frontier. The two routers are on their own network and can't see each other. This is great because the westell router can just be dedicated to the streaming box. I guess my ultimate question is should I contact Frontier and tell them that they have issued me a second ip address? Will they ever figure out that I was issued a second ip address? Or should I just set up a bridge for the second router and release the ip address. Any thoughts would be appreciated.
