I called in reference to upgrading my router which in turn was likely going to also require me to upgrade my speed - not a big deal if that gets my VOIP working.. But when I get over to customer service the little man gives me the above about my account being locked out temporarily - "so we can check that you have all fiber, etc.." or something else to try to shake me off..
Anyone ever heard of this? I find it odd that this block has occurred at the exact same time I want to make a change, I see nothing on the net about others mentioning similar experiences, there is no trouble ticket on my account, etc...
Does anyone have any thoughts on this?
