[TV] Frontier FiOS has Reasonable DRM on TV Channels for Cable Card Users

Frontier Communications gets beat up lot for things it does wrong, and I want to point out something it does right. In the FL market, Frontier only has a few channels with DRM on them. This is great news for those of us that use their cable cards with our own tuners and applications. For example, a Silicon Dust HDHomeRun Prime 3 network tuner with Channels DVR, Emby or Plex software can pick up 607 channels with a cable card plugged in. Although, 100 to 200 of those channels are duplicate SD channels, and less than 10 channels have DRM on them. Furthermore, you can add about 147 TV Everywhere (TVE) channels to a Channels DVR setup using your Frontier login. The lack of DRM on most channels allows me to create and tailor a TV viewing experience that works for me and the members of my house hold. In addition, it’s one of the reasons why I subscribe to them. For Frontier customers in the other markets, what has your experience been with DRM on TV channels?
