I was taking a look at the https://frontier.com/~/media/HelpCenter/Documents/tv/fios/set-top-box-equipment-efficiency.ashx today, when I noticed they replaced the FiOS "VMS P1" with the "FMS2." Based on the listing for it, it mentions 4K capabilities, like the existing Vantage VIP5662W had. The VIP5662W seems to have been changed to the VIP5662EW.
Changes between "VMS P1" and "FMS2" in regards to the "features", the FMS2 has -
S-DVR(Shared DVR), W-HNI(WiFi HNI), HEVP(High Efficency Video Processing), and UHD-4(Ultra High Definition – 4K) listed. Compared to the VMS, it's missing CC(Cable Card) and XCD(Transcoding) as features.
The Vantage VIP5662EW really only seems to be a refresh of the previous VIP5662W, with slightly less power consumption, but the same wireless/4k capabilities as the previous model. Maybe different inputs.
So basically the FMS2 seems to be the FiOS equivalent of the Vantage VIP5662W that has been out for a few years now. Because it has wireless and seems to be missing cablecard as a feature, perhaps it means that FiOS is moving over to IPTV like Vantage? I'm not sure if it's just a typo though, because the FMS2 is missing the "MIMO-5" listing for wireless like the VIP5662EW/VIP4402W/IP815W has. It doesn't really make sense for the FMS2 to have wireless if it's QAM, unless it's a typo.

Edit: I checked the data sheet(for the FMS2) on the FCC site and I don't see any mention of wireless, and it does mention QAM tuners.
TLDR - They have the FMS2 listed now which is a 4k capable DVR for FiOS, which is similar to the VMS4100 introduced by Verizon, and similar in design to the Vantage 4k DVR that has been out for a few years. 1 TB storage.
Note that this does not necessarily mean 4k live content, however things like Netflix will be in 4K.
