Conduit Questions for FiberOffice Install

I think I may be making this harder than it needs to be, but I wonder if anyone has any advice, or information about how this is usually done. I'm in Central NY where Frontier just ran fiber apparently on CAF2 funds last fall. I've been a business class DSL customer for years (work from home, run services, need the AUP, etc) and just signed the agreement for business class 100/100 FiberOffice service. Current copper line from pole to NID on house for DSL and POTS is buried. Aerial fiber drop is what the local Frontier people default to. However, for various reasons, including not wanting to hack up trees or have an ugly line strung across a nice open front lawn, along with spousal acceptance factor, aerial is not an option. Local business sales rep and local tech state that buried service installation would have to wait until spring, but when I mentioned that I have a backhoe and was willing to trench to the sales rep during the first conversation, she seemed optimistic that this would allow buried service installation before spring but I didn't get quite the same impression from the local tech. Frost in the ground will not slow down my backhoe. I would honestly rather dig myself than have Frontier's contract excavator come in in the spring. This all ties back to spousal acceptance factor - she is concerned about impact to landscaping from a careless, hurried contractor and I have to admit I agree. What do I have to do to make a buried drop that I dig for happen? Preferrably before spring? 1. If I trench and install a conduit with pull cord per http://www.dslreports.com/forum/r29958503- do you think I can convince them to use that? In that case what happens, does fiber get run through the conduit and into the building where an indoor ONT would be used? 2. Worst case, can I have them demarcate service at the pole and then just be responsible past that point? If so, does that mean they would use an outdoor ONT on the pole and I'd need to provide power for that? Or is an indoor ONT still an option? What cabling would I be installing between the building and the pole? Copper or fiber? What type? Does the ONT serve as the demarcation point, like a copper NID, or is it more similar to a DSL modem from a demarcation perspective? 3. Is it reasonable to just ask for a temporary drop strung across the ground and then work out the excavation myself, complete with conduit and pull cord, for them to come back later and switch to, or just pull through myself so I don't have to bother them? The local tech came yesterday and fixed my existing DSL (another long, crazy story) and I discussed it briefly with him as time allowed, but he seemed to really push hard toward and aerial drop, which just will not work. He's been a great guy over the years and has bent over backwards to get me good service on my sketchy 2 mile subscriber loop after lightning strikes and so on, so I didn't want to argue and give him a hard time. I want to make it easy for these folks to give me a buried solution. I don't mind providing some or all of that solution to come to something that's agreeable to both them and us... If I can get some sort of solid answer if trenching and putting in conduit is something they'll use, I'd be digging tomorrow....
