So when I first signed up for quantum all the new boxes had ethernet ports and the installer said they were inactive and all my client STB's were hooked up with coax. So fast forward to today. We are doing some additions to our home and in a new room the ethernet is hooked up but not the coax yet. Just for fun I plug the client in via ethernet and voila! I'm watching FiOS on that client STB. I had no idea we could do this.
How long has this feature been available? I hadn't even thought the check this after it was initially installed way back when. Anyhow I am pleasantly surprised!
