Some of the frontier techs asked for updates for the kearneysville area of wv.
Specifically the neighborhoods of chapel view and quail ridge, right on short road off route 9 in martinsburg/kearneysville.
Comcast has started burying conduit in the quail ridge sub, and I spoke with a comcast exec today who confirmed that they are indeed the ones laying conduit and putting new pads down in quail ridge. He says the target activation date is 10/1, but will know more details as the contractors get closer to the mark.
Needless to say all of us here in the 2 neighborhoods are excited and ready for some speed upgrades. Some at the front end of chapel and quail can get north of 12-20mb with bonded dsl, those of us in the newer phases toward the back are at the edge of serviceability.
Not posting this to be a smarta$$, but to inform those who wanted to know what was going on, and if frontier was planning any upgrades to try and stay competitive, now is the time :)
