Been with Verizon/Frontier Fios for ~13 years now. Thinking of switching to cable for a few months in order to qualify for new customer pricing.
When I cancel, do they leave the ONT installed? I presume they do, since it wouldn't make sense to remove it and then have to reinstall it if they win back a customer.
Follow-up question. I'm currently set up for ethernet rather than coax since I've never had TV service with them. Would there be any problem with getting ethernet service in the future, presuming that the ONT is not touched?
