[FIOS] Problems with DVR - Scheduled recordings get "dropped"

I have Frontier FiOS (formerly Verizon). The problem regards FiOS TV and the scheduling of shows/series to DVR. I have several series I am DVRing scheduled to record. But for certain series, it seems that the schedule just "drops" and fails to DVR, even though they're scheduled, and even though they still remain on the list of series I am recording. Here's an example. Take the series: "Game of Thrones" (not the one I'm recording, but it will serve.). 1) I set up a "record series" event for, say, "Game of Thrones..." a) Episode: First-Run Only b) Keep: Up to 14 episodes c) Rec Type: All d) Start: On Time e) End: On Time f) Save: Until I delete g) Channel: Selected Chanel h) Air Time: Any Time i) Duplicates: No. The system records the series entry and schedules all future new episodes for DVRing. And the episodes start to DVR. However, somewhere after the 7th or so episode, the 8th (or so) episode fails to DVR, and all episodes thereafter are dropped from the schedule, even though the series entry is still there. If I were, for example to go back to the "guide" and find one of the episodes that were dropped, I can hit the "rec" button. All of a sudden, it remembers that it was a series I was recording, and re-schedules all future episodes. It asks "extend by 30 min" to the episode on which I pressed "rec" again. And off it goes, again, recording future episodes. That is, until it gets to that 7th episode after it started again, and just "drops" it and future episodes, once again. Until I go in again, press "rec" and it again re-schedules the eps.... Lather-Rinse-Repeat.... I have no idea what's going on or what is causing the system to "drop" scheduled episodes from DVRing. Does it matter the length of the episodes (this particular series has 2 and 3hr episodes). It's not an issue of space, because I end up deleting individual episodes after I watch them. So it's not like it's exceeding 14 episodes or the DVR is running out of space. Is the fact that the episode starts at midnight a factor? I don't understand why this is happening.... Anyone have these issues? Regards.
