Frontier DSL at my new home in Michigan makes me miss Comcast.
DSL has been a series of reboots, swapping modems, service calls with "Sorry AOHD" (area of high demand)
But this past week service has been better than ever, maintaining a 5883 Kbps / 856 Kbps connection.
Went to use the POTS line but no dial tone. Problem is a week old because people have complained I haven't answered the phone.
Anybody think these developments are related? I haven't called Frontier yet. I don't want the POTS fixed if it means reverting to my previous DSL problems.
Can't find a phone jack at the NID. May be covered by whole house DSL splitter/filter.
Any thoughts welcome.
