I am in the DFW area and my FiOS contract is coming up in January. Charter Spectrum has an offer out that seems pretty good. Looks like I can get all the same channels I have now for about 75% of what I pay FiOS. Planning to call Frontier in the next month and see what they can do, but some of the differences are:
Cable Cards @ $2.00 vs. $4.99 ( I use three)
Cable box rent is $4.99 vs. $9.95 (I only have one and only because they make me keep one)
Internet is 100/100 and with FiOS is 75/75
Am I crazy for considering it?
